Ukraine has been defending Europe and the world from hostile full-scale Russian aggression for over a year now. The Aviation Museum is closed until the end of the war, but every day, even under fire, museum staff go to work to maintain exhibits in proper condition and continue developing the museum. Funding for restoration and preservation of our exhibits came from the money the museum received from selling entrance tickets. Unfortunately, it has been a year since this source has been unavailable. For example, to fully paint a large aeroplane, it takes about €30,000 - for equipment hire, transportation, paint, contractors. And we have more than 100 planes and helicopters in our collection that require constant care.
Museum staff spare no time or effort to preserve the museum, but this is not enough. And now, more than ever, we are waiting for the help of those who care about aviation and its history. Only charitable contributions will help preserve the museum until it reopens. You can support the Aviation Museum by making a charitable contribution at the оr by purchasing tickets to the museum, which you can use after Ukraine's victory.
