On May 14, the delegation of Businessmen Guild of Finland («Handelsgillet») was acquainted with an exposure of USAM. This club exists for over 150 years and combines Swedish-speaking businessmen from different sectors of the economy.
The delegation included well-known Finnish historian of aviation, the author of the book series "Red Star”, Carl-Fredrik Geust. Six volumes of this series devoted to the study of the Soviet Air Force in different periods: from 1917 to 1941, during the Russo-Finnish War and the Great Patriotic War, the Soviet Navy aircraft, foreign aircraft in the Air Force, and others presented in these materials are the result of long-term study of original documents stored in the Soviet, Finnish and German archives. Editions are richly illustrated, and are considered the most prestigious foreign research on Soviet aviation.
After the tour, head of the delegation Wildtgrube Mikael left a message in the book of honorable guests.
